Invitation
The 2nd Asian Regional Conference for Headache (hereinafter called ARCH) meeting will take place October 16th-17th, 2010. The 2009 conference was very successful with the participation of four countries; Japan, China, the Philippines, and Korea. This next meeting that will take place in October will have the participation of a total of nine countries. This symposium will be the first to host the “poster presentation” area which allows doctors to share their research and experiences with one another. Also during this time, we will have a special seminar from the president of the International Headache Society, Dr. Diener.

As you may all know, Asia is the most populated continent in the world and a lot of new developments are taking place here. Amidst all of the innovations, I am certain that the field of headache research will also make great advancements here. I highly urge everyone to participate and perpetuate the progression that this field is making. In addition, the time that the meeting is being held brings out the clearest skies and the best weather which can’t help but accentuate Korea’s beauty. Therefore, aside from enjoying the conference, I encourage everyone to experience the relaxing nature of the fall season of Seoul.

Lastly, I’d like to give my personal thanks to the president of the Japanese Headache Society, Dr. Sakai, who has always been a great supporter of this conference, and to the president of IHS, Dr. Diener, who has given a lot of support and interest in this conference. Moreover, I’d like to thank the Korean Headache Society for their effort in helping to make this conference take place.
3rd of June 2010.
